I made hubby a pavlova for part of his valentine treat – the connection to meringue was inescapable, really. Mmmm…
Oooh, what’s a pavlova? Sounds divine….if it’s not too complicated.
Super easy. Google it! It’s a giant meringue, topped with whipped cream, fruit, and berry coulis. The pavlova ends up like a soft marshmallow inside, crisp on the outside, and it melts away to nothing in your mouth. Deadly…

Winter really does provide some stunning scenes.
You will appreciate the trials in the acquisition thereof. I may or may not have floundered into a four-foot super-soft drift and gotten (ahem!) upside down like a turtle, helplessly squirming with my camera above my head trying to save it from a fate worse than death. 🙂
That soft snow can create some amusing situations. The real photograph then gets missed.
Always bring a buddy? With a camera, no less… hehe
