πŸ™‚ These little shorebirds were a lot of fun to watch. They either like each other a lot, have very little desire for alone time, or haven’t the brains to go somewhere new without a pack of look-alikes tagging along.

Great matching of words and photo. Life laps is a nice turn of phrase.

Thanks, Lauren! How is your world these days?

      • You’re welcome, and my world is happy and well! My daughter is home for the summer until her senior college year begins, so it’s nice to be a family of 4 again. Just trying to enjoy life to the fullest. πŸ™‚ Have a great weekend!

Thanks Lauren! How nice to have your daughter home. We are off on holidays for the first time without our son. *sigh* Things change when they grow up!! Enjoy…

      • Ahh..hope you have a great time, Melody! Some things are nice when they’re older! We are following in your footsteps in 2 weeks, as we’re heading for Oregon, rented a condo, just the two of us. Our daughter is looking for a summer job (fingers crossed) and our son has a job. They’ve actually had plans with friends, so it’s all good. We can’t wait and ready now. πŸ™‚

IT’s so gratifying when they are happy and settled – it just takes some time for us old ones to adjust to the change… πŸ™‚

      • Exactly! πŸ™‚
