beautiful, is the power of nature!

Absolutely! We have had a lot of gorgeous frosts this winter. It helps to while away the cold months when they look pretty – at least from inside the window! 😉

  2. cindy knoke

    exquisiteness!

    1. melodylowes

Thank you, Cindy! I’ll take it! 😉

    2. melodylowes

Thanks Cindy! How a comment of this calibre squeezed by unnoticed is beyond me. Thank you, a month late! 🙂

Lovely. Is your head crowned with snow at the moment? Or is the snow just up to your ankles?

    1. melodylowes

HA! Trust you to make me choke on my tea. Not very ladylike, I’m afraid. Ah, yes – the snow is encroaching. So far it is rather like silver, liberally scattered through the dark. I don’t mind it, actually. Maybe someone will make the mistake of thinking I am wise! 😉

      1. Gallivanta

No mistake! You are wise. Snowy headed or not.

      2. melodylowes

Choking may cause slight sporadic decreases of said implied wisdom.

  4. Lyle Krahn

I wish I had your way with words. Wonderful. (But I think you might have called me ancient)

    1. melodylowes

Ha! Not likely, Lyle. You are far too young – at least at heart! 🙂 This one was a tribute to an article I read lately about holocaust survivors. I am so drawn to their courage and spirit.

Oh, WOW-Wonderful, Mel!! You know how I love silver.

    1. melodylowes

I KNOW! Guess who was in my thoughts as I wrote that one????

      1. Kiki’s Pen

Ooooh, I’m squealing with JOY!! God bless you BIG!! How’s school, and the winter weather?

      2. melodylowes

School is busy and challenging and entertaining as always. Had a wee one puzzling over the reading test – he was to draw a picture of a ‘crow’. After putting some quality thought toward the project, he drew an incredible cow, complete with bell, and crossed out the ‘r’. “It must be a silent ‘r’, because this is definitely a cow.” HAHAHAHAHAHA! I love my job!

      3. Kiki’s Pen

That is hilarious, not to mention ingenious!!!!

      4. melodylowes

        I love that stuff!!

  6. Dina

You are indeed very gifted with words! Thank you!

    1. melodylowes

      Thank you very much, Dina!

Because “silver” is one of my favorite sounding words, your poem is a gift. My other favorite word is “honeycomb.” Perhaps you can write a poem about that?

    1. melodylowes

🙂 I take that as a personal challenge!

  8. beingeternal

    1. melodylowes

      Why, thank you! 🙂

    1. melodylowes

A fellow green thumb! Nice to ‘meet’ you, Mitsie. 🙂
