* My local community has been hit hard with the tragic loss of 15 of its loved ones after a horrible accident. It is hard to fathom what these families are enduring right now in their shock and grief. I am so proud of the ways in which people are supporting each other and loving each other through this terrible time of loss. To all the first-responders, medical staff, blood donors, coffee-pourers, blanket-bringers, and prayer warriors – thank you! May God richly bless your efforts! To all of the families and friends suffering through this awful season of hardship – the prayers and thoughts of everyone in Saskatchewan are with you all… *

How terribly sad for everyone. It’s good to hear that there is so much support and love. I thought of you from the moment I first saw the news. I have no idea why because I don’t know exactly where you live. I just felt there was a connection. Love and hugs.

Thank you sweet Heidi! The families most affected will need those prayers, for many weeks and months to come! We are still unsure of the status of some of those still in medical care and our hearts go out to them and their loved ones as they struggle to cope. Our little church this morning was moved to pray mightily on their behalf and we know that only a Good God can take such devastation and work in and through it to provide peace and healing and hope…
