Hooded Monks

Hooded monks with vesper views, Marking time on evening pews, Meditating on Good News, Footsteps padding light. Cloaks and Cloth at sunset hour, Kneeling in monastic tower, Soaking rays of heaven’s power, Bidding God goodnight. * This gorgeous flower is ‘Aconitum‘, commonly called ‘Monkshood’…

This is SO Great, Melody! I’m sending my cousin your “Breath of Angels” (if it’s okay with you–she doesn’t do computers!) and would like to include this one also. She’s my “Saint” Theresa–and would just love these!!

No problem – these words are meant for sharing, I think. Go ahead, Caddo. Thank you for the ‘Seal of Caddo Approval’ – maybe I should get a stamp to that effect made? 🙂

Thank you so much, Ricardo! What an honor. I will let you know when I post about it – it usually takes me a while to get to the Awards, I’m afraid…

    What an interesting flower!

It is – such a unique shape. I have one that is bi-colored purple and white, but it doesn’t photograph as well as this one. They are quite tall and a nice sturdier alternative to delphiniums for those who don’t like having to stake those up all the time after a windy day.
