Savour the Sunshine

Dabs of  pure white in a forest of green,  last blooms of summer with wintry sheen; fall into autumn with ice at your heels, savour the sunshine  and how living feels.

I’m wondering if you might include the name of the flowers you photograph–this inquiring mind always wants to know!

Okay! I usually label my photos and you can get the name if you hover over it with your mouse – this one is a spotted dead-nettle. Weird, huh?

Oh you would have to pull “tech” rank on me–hover-hover! I’m up to speed now–ha ha.

Well, I “hovered” my mouse over the white blossoms, and it just says “white”. So, is the flower called Spotted Dead Nettle–or am I hovering incorrectly? Hope I’m not trying your patience, but I confess I’m a dweeb…

Sorry – my older ones all had the flower names, and some of the newer ones don’t because the name was already taken – I’ll have to start calling them ‘spotted dead nettle No. 3 in blue’ or something to get around that. 🙂

Oh shoot, Melody–it’ll take you forever to type those long-long names! My next question is how you get the words/names in the photo–way above my educational level!

When you save them you save them ‘as’ something – you give it a name for your files. You can call it anything you want – and on WP when you hover over the photo the name of the photo pops up.

        I told you I’m a tech-dweeb, didn’t I…this is when the cubicle arrangement would work better/quicker/clearer!

        Spit-balls and all!!
