Forest Hovers

winterwonderlandwindow

Forest hovers, dark and deep,

Canopy of scented leaves;

Overhead, the tree in sleep

Provides a roof with icy eaves.

Loathe to stir from homey den,

Heart clings tightly to this view;

Frosty boughs, in peaceful glen,

Bathed with heaven’s frosted dew.

    A beautiful scene especially when seen from my warm kitchen on a summer night

    Beautiful pic! Made me shiver! You are MY poetess of the year, whether you accept the prize or not, which consists of the following: 1. Bundle up. 2. Put on those snow boots. 3. Quickly exit the back door. 4. Breathe. 5. Stare in wonder. 6. Dream. 7. Create. 8. Each day start at number 1. πŸ™‚ Eric

      I am wanting a super duper professional photographer’s equipment this week – the textures of the various frosts are so amazingly intricate! You can’t help but worship a Being who can design a million kinds of snow… πŸ™‚
