Curtain Call

snowysprucebranches

Curtain closes on the year –

Prompters readjust new lines;

Actors memorize the script,

Backstage hands construct new signs.

Writers seek the perfect words,

Props are found and set in place;

When the curtain opens next,

2012 will be replaced.
