Frozen fingers point, accuse,
indict the earth for all her crimes;
frozen hearts in Trouble’s shoes
hear the fear in Memory’s chimes.
In a world where Winter reigns,
a Narnia ‘neath wicked spell,
who but Spring’s Son breaks such chains,
melts the shackles of such hell?
Oooh, WOW-WONDERFUL, Mel!!
🙂 Thank you Caddo…
Mmm…like it. 🙂
Thanks Gwen!
Oh, I love this so much, Melody . ..and that Spring’s Son breaking the chains!
Yesterday, I took down the Christmas tree and the other things we had up .. .the lights inside. My Aubrey was sad. So I told her to think of it this way, that taking down the tree means it’s getting closer to spring time again and all those things she likes to do but can’t during the winter. That helped!
The taking down of Christmas has a mourning attached that the putting up of Christmas sure doesn’t contain! But yes – spring is on its way already, although the world will be but slow in taking up the cry!
