Winter Delight

Winging my way through a world wrapped in wonder, winterland magic in  frost-waves of white; song rises softly in heart of stunned pleasure, praise to the Author of winter delight.

And praise to the author of a little patch of winter sun; such a sweet creature.

Thank you so much for enjoying this amazing journey with me – I think we all need to work at finding the beauty around us, even when other things in life look bleak. I am grateful for your encouragement! 🙂

Isn’t it? It reminds us that what He gave is good – it’s we humans who have messed things up so badly…

I’ll admit to doing that myself from time to time… But it really IS beautiful, and magical, and full of wonder, if I take the time to enjoy it!

Beautiful image! And – the words – a great reminder to enjoy the view in the chill of winter – we just have to dress warm 😉

I think he’s a redpoll – here’s a whole lock of them that I see every day in my yard, in their never-ending search for seeds. They haven’t found my birdfeeder yet – is there another life lesson in there somewhere?
