Growing Aristocracy

babybleedingheart.jpg

Sometimes life just slips in slow,

hesitant, on feet of crepe;

self-doubt-dressed, with head hung low,

apologetic for its shape.

Little one, lift up your eyes,

dare to claim the legacy

Your Maker saw as noble prize,

growing aristocracy.

    Wow, I love this stuff, Mel. I like crepe feet, but I especially love “self-doubt-dressed”–that was my uniform for most of my life…but as we know, I’ve got the glitter thing goin’ on now (thank You, Lord!). God bless you–love, sis Caddo
