Nip It In the Bud Jun25 by melodylowes Don’t give the wind the satisfaction of ruffling your feathers or bending you out of shape; nip it in the bud, and bloom. Share this:FacebookEmailPinterestTwitterLinkedInTumblrLike this:Like Loading... Related
Oh I SO hope I can get to this point!!
Me, too! I still get ruffled. Sheesh.
Sheesh and 3/4 here.
Almost filled to the brim with sheesh, then? π
Slops over, spills, some days (and with plenty of alliteration for spice)…
Such a sweet photo. And your poem makes me quite determined to put that wind in its place. (In a literal way I would seriously like to switch off the wind sometimes. We have a cold wind from time to time; an easterly wind ; we know it as the beasterly easterly. )
Brrr! Literal and figurative winds seem to blow me off course – I would so love to be solid enough to not allow them that power…. Not yet. But I’m working on it! π
Keep strong but I am wondering if we better not forget that it is sometimes better to bend with the wind π
You are so right. Sometimes being too rigid can make our wounds larger cracks than if we adjust and compensate in new ways.
Brilliant! I love it. The photo’s gorgeous too. π
Thanks so much Elizabeth! Enjoy your day!
I second that! π
I need to apply this! Thanks for the reminder.
Easier said than done, as with most things worth striving for.
This one made me smile and chuckle. Well done!
A smile AND a chuckle? Awesome! Bonus points for me! π
Wow! Whenever we get “there” we’ll know, right?
I would think so! π Quite a lofty goal, huh?
