Nip It In the Bud

Don’t give the wind the satisfaction of ruffling your feathers or bending you out of shape; nip it in the bud, and bloom.

Oh I SO hope I can get to this point!!

    1. melodylowes

Me, too! I still get ruffled. Sheesh.

      1. Caddo-Jael

        Sheesh and 3/4 here.

      2. melodylowes

Almost filled to the brim with sheesh, then? 🙂

Slops over, spills, some days (and with plenty of alliteration for spice)…

        Snort!

Such a sweet photo. And your poem makes me quite determined to put that wind in its place. (In a literal way I would seriously like to switch off the wind sometimes. We have a cold wind from time to time; an easterly wind ; we know it as the beasterly easterly. )

Brrr! Literal and figurative winds seem to blow me off course – I would so love to be solid enough to not allow them that power…. Not yet. But I’m working on it! 🙂

Keep strong but I am wondering if we better not forget that it is sometimes better to bend with the wind 🙂

      2. melodylowes

You are so right. Sometimes being too rigid can make our wounds larger cracks than if we adjust and compensate in new ways.
