In the Breaking Place

Spiral, dictatorial

dead-weight. Thirsty soul seeks sun

and in the breaking place, blooms.

“In the breaking place, blooms”–I love that, sure is true in my life. Hey Mel, I was wondering how school is going??

Full plate, friend, full plate. Lots of needs, and I have to make sure I don’t overextend my resources. Already caught a cold… sniff. 😦 But – so thrilled to be in a better place this year!

I’m celebrating with you! Have you tried hot lemonade for your sniffles?

      2. melodylowes

Mmm – that sounds like it will hit the spot!

      3. Caddo

Sending prayers up north, just in case the remedy affords lackluster results. When you feel better, I’ve still got birthday cake and Spumoni ice cream with your name on it!

      4. melodylowes

        NICE!!

Sending warm sunshine-y wishes to chase away the sniffles 🙂

This post reminds me of the Tower of Babel especially the first verse. Men just kept that tower growing higher and higher into the heavens, onwards and upwards, hoping to meet their Maker.

Good connection. I’m so glad we don’t have to actually get that high to get our Maker’s ear and heart! Thanks RumPunch!

Melody — there’s are Greek columns that a carved with this same pillar style flower~ this brought to mind hisses of Roman history standing against aging prowess~ I loved your metaphor of stretching tendons especially since mine are very contracted~ I never tire reading and pondering your explorations into the leaving behind the ego. Faithfully Debbie
