An Invitation

garden view

Step into my garden,

Linger in the lane;

Wrap yourself in rosemary,

Scent yourself with sage.

Rosebuds beckon, daisies nod,

Treetops lend their shade;

Peace awaits the wanderer

Whose heart is sorrow-swayed.
