Isn’t it great? I get to stay comfy indoors and drink coffee. What’s not to like? 😉

    Warm toasty cheers!
Yep – that cold here too. School has been cancelled for tomorrow. And – advisories have been scrolling on the tv all weekend.

    1. melodylowes

Yuck. All well – all the better to get all caffeined up! 😉

Love the comfort of a hot drink in a snowstorm!

Too true! My kids got me a Tassimo for Christmas and it’s the best thing to beat the cold right now!!

enjoy your present! I made spiced cider last week and have been enjoying a mug every day.

Guess it proves the gov’t cares about some things–that’s an encouragement.

    1. melodylowes

HA! They just don’t want the trouble and expense of burying us all this week…. 😉

      1. Caddo

Oh my goodness–don’t know whether to laugh or cry. Some of the bodies won’t show till spring though, right?

*choke* Great gravy and 56/67ths, girl – you DON’T want to know the visual I got on that one….

What a privileged existence we lead – too many blessings to count!

I am flabbergasted by the weather reports and TV news of the snow and cold in the US and Canada.

      2. melodylowes

Me, too. Most of my sympathy is reserved for the folks struggling with no power – imagine! 😦

You should really save poetry like this for the coldest night. There’s not even a 4 in the temperature yet!

    1. melodylowes

      Ha! 🙂

Wonderful poem in few words, Melody. I can’t relate to the cold as our weather has been in the high 60’s and sunny. But we’re in dire need of rain or we’ll be heading into a drought. However, your poem reminds me of a hot pumpkin spice latte, which I indulged in a “few times” over the holiday season. 🙂 Take care and stay warm.

Pumpkin spice latte sounds rather heavenly to me! I so hope you get some rain – drought is a scary and ugly thing. We are supposed to warm up dramatically by the weekend, so all is well! 🙂
