Arms and soul flung wide,

She welcomes the Sun –

Long-lost Lover –

Breathing in his fragrance,

Memorizing his smile

For the cloudy days to come

I loved the thought of memorizing his smile for the cloudy days to come! Good one, Melody!

I love this! I can really relate to it since we have about 72 days of sun a year!

I can see all the warmth being stored! Gorgeous.

  4. Melody, I’m so glad to see that spring has sprung in your province too. Lovely post.

Thanks Wendy! The green is balm to my soul. How is the writing coming along??

      • I’m working on a sequel while hubby edits my second draft of the first novel–hope to be ready to query agents soon. I guess you’re looking forward to summer break? ❀

Yep! Home with bronchitis for a few days, but very much looking forward to being able to spend some time with my family!! Good for you – that is a huge accomplishment to have your book finished. Yay for you!!

      • Ouch! Get well wishes. ❀ I had bronchitis when I was 7 months pregnant with my second son, and I thought my tummy was going to burst open.

Ooh, I bet! Not fun at all. Am already coughing less – just so blasted tired. Ah, well. Sleeping is good!
