Arms and soul flung wide,
She welcomes the Sun –
Long-lost Lover –
Breathing in his fragrance,
Memorizing his smile
For the cloudy days to come

I loved the thought of memorizing his smile for the cloudy days to come! Good one, Melody!
Thanks Debbie! I hope you are enjoying the warmer weather, and that all is well in your world!
I love this! I can really relate to it since we have about 72 days of sun a year!
Store it up, Julie!! 😉
🙂
I can see all the warmth being stored! Gorgeous.
I am positively inhaling the green! We got a lovely rain and everything looks and smells AWESOME!
AWESOME indeed.
Melody, I’m so glad to see that spring has sprung in your province too. Lovely post.
Blessings ~ Wendy ❀
Thanks Wendy! The green is balm to my soul. How is the writing coming along??
I’m working on a sequel while hubby edits my second draft of the first novel–hope to be ready to query agents soon. I guess you’re looking forward to summer break? ❀
Yep! Home with bronchitis for a few days, but very much looking forward to being able to spend some time with my family!! Good for you – that is a huge accomplishment to have your book finished. Yay for you!!
Ouch! Get well wishes. ❀ I had bronchitis when I was 7 months pregnant with my second son, and I thought my tummy was going to burst open.
Ooh, I bet! Not fun at all. Am already coughing less – just so blasted tired. Ah, well. Sleeping is good!
