When Columbines Cry Jun30 by melodylowes When columbines cry their sorrows, reduced to silvered pearls, slide down emerald cheeks, trace Earth’s veins, disappear beneath quilted soil and sleep until they rise again. This is so beautiful, with a touch of sad . . .just perfect!
Aw, thanks, Debbie. I’ll take it!
Made my heart ache a little…
Oh, oh – I know CPR! 🙂 Thanks Marcy….
Thank you, Cindy! Have a great day!
That ‘silvered pearl’ on the leaf is perfection.
🙂 Thanks Gallivanta. All around us there is flooding this week – and we are safe. Much to be thankful for as the sun shines today after several weeks of wet weather.
A little bit of sunshine to help with Canada Day celebrations. 🙂
Indeed! Wow. I don’t know when NZ celebrates – that’s pretty good! 😉
That’s exactly what happens – well done.
Thanks Lyle! There have been quite a few flower tears this week. How great is it to see the sun shining? 🙂
I second Skye’s that Lovely… 🙂
Thanks Rosy. Haven’t seen you around for so long – been super busy! So – how’s life? Any big summer plans?
Hi Melody 🙂
Busy here too. But – that’s ok – busy is good – right?
No set plans. Family vacay is not in our forecast for this year. Maybe next year we can squeeze one in before our oldest heads for college.
How about you?
Going to the mountains camping for a bit. Our oldest is now in college and has a summer job so this will be the first year ever that we don’t take him along. Times change…. Then Arizona for a conference and I had some writing plans but the time already looks as though it is flying away from me. Ah, well. As you say, busy is good. The right kind and level of busy, I mean! 🙂
The image is gorgeous and your words so thought provoking…perfect pairing.
Thank you, Robyn! I’m glad you dropped by!
