Thoughts are clouds on canvas sky –
Some go idly drifting by,
Moved by whim or circumstance,
Shaped as concepts meet by chance.
Others draw conclusions there,
Intention giving studied air –
Captured by the artist’s mind,
Reflection paints each view refined.
Lest your work of art be marred
By thunder-heads, be on your guard;
Better than the stormy strokes
Are lovely thoughts that hope evokes.
WOW-Wonderful.
Thanks! I have missed those WOW-wonderfuls!! π
Oh how fun–I just wrote a comment to you in the same “missing you” vein!! Great, enduring connection we have, Mel. Praise God.
Amazing. I get to say to my teens who mocked my ‘pretend on-line friends’ “Told ya so!” That, of course, makes anything worthwhile. hehe
I love it–“pretend on-line friends”; does seem that way some days….at least they can’t pop over unannounced, wanting something you don’t have to give.
π There’s nothing like built-in boundaries to make good on-line neighbours.
Yup
Lovely thoughts that hope evokes…..YES!
I noticed when I was worn down and not feeling well how quickly my thoughts were drawn to negative things…. yikes! Onwards and upwards!
Oh yes, that happens faster than one can blink.
Amazingly beautiful thoughts! π
Thanks! π
My pleasure. Stay Beautiful! π
Thoughts “captured by the artist’s mind”…which you have done so masterfully here. Thank you for the gentle caution toward guarding my own.
π I need more than a gentle reminder sometimes! Especially when I am tired…they float in and take over when I’m down for the count and not as likely to fight back. Hmmm. A lifetime of practice for this one is called for, I think!
Carving out hope in the sky. Great ideas you put together here.
Thanks Lyle. I tried to capture a kingfisher today but he was camera-shy. π¦ I’m pretty sure you would have talked him into a full photo-shoot.
I love your delusions about my wildlife whispering abilities:)
Hahaha! Don’t mess with my illusions. They work.
I love our thoughts being like clouds! Wonderful Melody!
π Thanks Debbie!
