She Chose

The day she chose to lift her face to the sun, love her own skin, embrace her true colours, she bloomed.

to lift her face to the sun,

love her own skin,

embrace her true colours,

she bloomed.

HA! You’re going to show me up with that wit of yours. How have you been? Haven’t been online for so long – I’m missing my ‘regulars’!

      1. Gallivanta

I haven’t been online as much as usual. All sorts of woes and pains, colds, tiredness. Think I am mending now. 🙂

      2. melodylowes

Ouch. Time for an extra long nap!

Thought-provoking words, Melody, and so true. Love and blessings from North Wales ♥

Thanks Isabella! So good to hear from you. I haven’t been writing or bouncing around in the blogging world for so long. I got hacked and had to lay low for a while. How is your summer going so far??

Sorry to hear that, Melody, but lovely to see you back with your inspirational words of wisdom. A tonic of living waters for my spirit. Summer is not too hot, just as I like it. I try and get out from time to time but am constantly frustrated and limited with poor health. But ‘this too will pass’, as the saying goes. My motto – Onwards and Upwards. LOve and blessings ♥

Thanks! There is a powerful freedom in choosing to be ‘me’, for each of us. I think we can all connect to that on our journey…

Few words – rich in meaning!

    1. melodylowes

Thanks Lyle! Thot about you at the lake last week – our girls were too close to a loon and it flared up and freaked out. Got a few nice shots before we retreated to give her more parenting space. I was pretty sure you would have gotten that National Geographic shot in my place. 🙂

Oh to bloom! The sun makes the colors even more vivid as the smile of flower is visible.

      Bloom away! 🙂

Aw, thanks Rosy! Summer is quickly disappearing, but it has been really enjoyable. How about you??

      1. RoSy

I know – we only got about a week or two of real summer. But – we’ve been trying to make the most of it with things to do here & there despite most of June & July being chilly & rainy. Now – it’s back to getting ready for school mode. Every year – it’s like – Where has the time gone?

        I hear ya!
