      We had a terrible storm here yesterday – my poor garden got blown to bits. Some people locally got upwards of 5 inches of rain in a matter of hours – flooding and mayhem! You never know what the day will bring…

        Ah, well. There are much, much worse things to be troubled by than a little wind and flat corn. 🙂

      Indeed! I have discovered that my hopes for a calm untroubled life have been rather – foolish and unfounded. Better to learn how to survive the inevitable storms than pretend that they aren’t coming or don’t exist! Not an easy proposition. I’m learning. Slowly. Glad you folks got some rain – things were looking rather crisp your direction the past few weeks!
