Epilogue

Jan Lake burnt blueberries

Out of the fire, something to eat,

Out of the chaos, something sweet;

As sure as the sunrise from darkness is torn,

After the heartache, Hope is reborn.

****

My husband and I stumbled across a delightful blueberry patch growing in an area devastated by fire. What a delicious promise that the very things in life that distress and challenge us can be the beginning of something beautiful and fruitful  – if we will allow them to transform us.

    So reassuring. And I would rather have a blueberry than a phoenix. 😉

    This is so beautiful, Melody! My heart needed to hear this and believe it today! :).

      I was in tears when I realized the significance of this blueberry patch. EVERY heart needs to hear and understand this truth. I so love how God prmises to work ALL things together for our good. He doesn’t seem to be interested in speed, but in the process and outcome. Hang in there! He is at work, doing amazing things in and for and through you!!

  3. Any renewal in nature is a visible demonstration of the promise of eternity. I loved this Thanks!
