Broken Blooms

Broken blooms, please don’t cry, This stormy wind will soon pass by, And in your hearts, you must decide If blooming’s worth the pain. Broken blooms, your value holds, Even when life’s loss unfolds; Though trouble’s tragic wearing scolds, Your worth is your refrain.

Broken blooms, please don’t cry,

This stormy wind will soon pass by,

And in your hearts, you must decide

If blooming’s worth the pain.

Broken blooms, your value holds,

Even when life’s loss unfolds;

Though trouble’s tragic wearing scolds,

Your worth is your refrain.

    Of the poems that I’ve read on WordPress… this is one of the best. Great imagery, great story. Thanks.

      I am so amazed to see that those lilies are still spectacular, even in their brokenness… I am thinking that all these storms are an object lesson designed to help me learn a few things????

    I sympathize with you because of the rain but I can’t help loving its impact on your garden, poetry and pictures 🙂
