I’m Diving In

Rose of Sharon,

Your Beauty bleeds.

Layer upon layer, I prod and seek,

and as my vision

adjusts, I perceive.

Petals open and invite.

I see a delicate strength

wrapped in Glory,

enveloped in Mercy,

perfumed with Majesty,

lit with Love,

and I am lost,

drowning in a rose-scented sea,

drawn like an arrow

to the target of Your Heart.

I must have You.

I must find You,

breathe You in,

swim in Your ocean,

wrap myself in your skin.

I ‘m diving in, Lord –

catch me…

This is truly breath-taking! (Perhaps I was holding my breath as I, too, dove in.) Brilliant, and exquisitely, excruciatingly beautiful. (Shall I stop, or go on?) God bless you–love, Caddo

And He catches us…as we open layer upon layer of our hearts to the Rose of Sharon who also calls us the same… I am a Rose of Sharon, the lily of the valleys…Song of Songs 2:1…

I cannot stop reading your poems, Melody! This is amazing. I see your talent with worlds.
Very smooth/effortless reading, so many layers with perfect integrity, yet so inspiring.

Beautiful, Melody! This reminds me of burying my face in a cool, cool blossom.
The rose, yes, the perfect symbol for human and Divine Love. You captured this – the arrow, the target – wonderful!
