Arms wide open, I embrace the Light,
cherish the breath of God on skin,
bare,
naked,
heart ajar
and mind unfurled.
Agape,
I swim seas of significance,
take flight
in freedom’s slipstream,
and, meeting melodious melt waters,
slip into my own skin –
a perfect fit!
The word “Agape” – has special meaning to me. Soul love… this whole poem is lovely!
Thank you Betty! I have checked out your work and will be back to see more – great to meet another poet!
The plant is your picture is grapes?
Yes, this is one of my grapevines – they are tough to grow in this area, so I am especially proud of them! ๐
Oh, WOW-WONDERFUL, indeed, Melody! Wow, again. God bless you–love, sis Caddo
This one has a lot of significance for me, so I’m glad that you like it. ๐
I suspect we’d both share some of that significance.
WE need that proverbial cup of coffee one of these days.. ๐
This one took me away, a slip stream all it’s own! Lovely photo with a lovely poem! Thank you and God bless!
Aw, thanks, Debbie! ๐
