Just Two of Us

gardenorbmacro.jpg

Just  two of us

in single skin,

Dark and Light

at odds within;

Dark pulls hard

to blacker space,

Light yanks back

to trusting place.

Dark holds hurt,

and cradles pain;

Dark won’t grow,

so wounds remain.

Where Light reflects

in truest form,

Dark dies back,

and hope is born.

  1. Another wonderful photo with some fascinating words to go with it. Just love that twisting thread – but what is it?

      It’s a pretty little garden ornament given to me by a student years ago – the ball sits lightly on the metal spiral and runs up and down its ‘ladder’ in the breeze – very pretty…
