Just two of us
in single skin,
Dark and Light
at odds within;
Dark pulls hard
to blacker space,
Light yanks back
to trusting place.
Dark holds hurt,
and cradles pain;
Dark won’t grow,
so wounds remain.
Where Light reflects
in truest form,
Dark dies back,
and hope is born.
Another wonderful photo with some fascinating words to go with it. Just love that twisting thread – but what is it?
It’s a pretty little garden ornament given to me by a student years ago – the ball sits lightly on the metal spiral and runs up and down its ‘ladder’ in the breeze – very pretty…
There’s my favourite photo or object again.
The little ball runs up and down the spirals in the wind – a lovely imaginative garden ornament! I love it!
Yes, the light wins in the end 🙂 I love it!
I love the triumph of the Truth! Thanks, Heidi… 🙂

Thank you! 🙂
Boy, do I LOVE this simple poem’s message, Mel! We MUST stand firm against the pull of the dark’s destruction. God bless you BIG–love, Caddo
Thanks, Caddo. We all have a fight on our hands, if we get really honest…how lovely is it to be on the winning team?? 🙂
