Dim

Dim, as through a glass darkly, eyes seek out Your light. Veils, be gone – cataracts seek sun as surfer seeks sea, rest and restoration no matter the weather. Rise, dawn of my heart, bloom in rainbows where winter once reigned.

Dim,

as through a glass darkly,

eyes seek out Your light.

Veils, be gone –

cataracts seek sun

as surfer seeks sea,

rest and restoration

no matter the weather.

Rise,

dawn of my heart,

bloom in rainbows

where winter once reigned.

Oooh, this is pretty–even with the “veils, be gone” (humorous smirk). The last 4 lines are my fave–“rise, dawn of my heart” almost physically lifts me; and where ever “rainbows bloom”–I’m IN!!
