I was walking in this kind of snow and sun the other day and was pondering how to say what you just penned … you took the thoughts out of my mind and put them into beautiful words … I think I might have to print this out and keep them in my winter coat 🙂 LOVE IT!!!! Thanks, Mel!
🙂 Thanks, Heidi! I’m borrowing my daughter’s words. When she was wee little, she pointed at that sparkly snow. “We’re rich, Mommy!” I will never forget that little burst of wisdom, so simple and so profound. Every time I see those diamonds, I remember that I am indeed rich!

It takes courage and determination to see the beauty in the difficult places. I know that you have learned the trick of finding what is good in the midst of soul’s winter places, and are now able to pass that beauty on to the rest of us.
