Now you have me snorting! Last night–knowing I’d be starting workouts today–I was shoveling choc chips into my mouth like there was No Tomorrow!

So I’m asking–do I get to take the Sabbath off, from workouts, or no? Don’t feel pressured–I’m just looking for an opinion.
I think it’s a good thing to take a break now and then – especially for those of us who are fighting the ‘all or nothing’ thinking that has held us back for so long.
I knew I could count on you for a brilliant answer, Mel–you speak truth about that demon of all or nothing. Today I’m really tired and my hip is bothering me, so after walking to the grocery store, I did one 15 min session on O’Mercy–and I think that will have to suffice for today. I’m learning some new thought habits–like, everyday we can start anew (fresh mercies from HIM); that way, I don’t find myself dreading “tomorrow”, thinking I’m obliged to “catch up” or “make up for” yesterday’s “not enough”. It’s so silly, how we get tripped up–and so simple to just make a change! God bless you BIG (and thank you so much!)
Those last two lines spur the imagination
I think you know how to see beneath the surface – you certainly see the beauty in even the ‘ordinary’ critters you capture. It takes some imagination and practice and determination some days to draw out the best in others when they aren’t looking their best at the time….
… or trying very hard. The stuff below the surface is usually the most interesting and sometimes very real.
