My rear-view mirror
spells it out –
I’m chased by rainbows,
tailed by dreams.
The sun over my shoulder uses
what storm clouds brewed
and funnels formed
to redeem my back-trail;
car tires churn
and toss a spray
that, when hit by brilliance,
pursues my past
with glory personified.

The rain was just breaking up this morning when I glanced in my rearview mirror. I was, in truth, being chased by rainbows. What a lovely thought, that my past can be redeemed and made into something beautiful!
This is marvelous. Many thanks…. Your post today will give me great dreams tonight! 🙂
Wonderful! 🙂
I am loving this poem and the thought behind it, that our pasts can be redeemed! 🙂 God bless you!
Thank you, Debbie!
Okay, this has somehow surpassed Wow-Wonderful. I think you’re just showing off or something–(wink!) Really, I love it–putting it with my “keepsakes”, thanks! God bless you–love, Caddo
It was a ‘moment’, driving with my backtrail in redemption’s grip. Powerful life lesson!
Melody, good morning to you! I put a temporary link to this poem on my front page.
Hope your day is productive, healthy, and happy!

Thanks Maria! It’s Friday! 🙂
Yey!
Enjoy your weekend. I have to tell you I actually planted something yesterday, and thought of you – some grass seed mix (Grass Seed For Dummies). With the wind at my back, walking backwards, I did something USEFUL, and got my hands dirty.

Ta Da! Welcome to the world of the Sowers! 🙂
Yes….!
I am enjoying your poetry & your photos. Are the flowers all from your garden?
They are gorgeous!
Thanks! Yes, these are all from my garden – the last of the season, I’m afraid. I’ll have to find some alternate subjects to last me the winter through!
