Lean on Me

When cares weigh shoulders down with pain and heavy is your life’s refrain, in places where  your solace wanes, lean on Me. When hope is just a distant dream and breakers wash your goals upstream, in silence, when your soul bleeds screams, lean on Me. I am Rock, a solid mass, I am Time, when…

When cares weigh shoulders down with pain

and heavy is your life’s refrain,

in places where  your solace wanes,

lean on Me.

When hope is just a distant dream

and breakers wash your goals upstream,

in silence, when your soul bleeds screams,

lean on Me.

I am Rock, a solid mass,

I am Time, when seconds pass,

I am Truth, your looking glass –

lean on Me.

      Thanks Wendy! 🙂

Those are good reasons to “lean.” Nice series of snow photos lately.

Thanks Lyle. As soon as the sun shines, I run out and snap – we’ve had so many dreary unphotogenic days, that one must appreciate the opportunities as they come!

I didn’t think I was addicted to the sun but we certainly had a bad stretch there. Hopefully we’re back to normal.

I didn’t either, until we didn’t have any! Here’s to sunshine!

Sort of a ‘cracked wheat’ thing? 🙂 Thanks Caddo!

        Hah! I love it–you’re a genius!! As though I’d forgotten for a sec…

🙂 I’ll go for ‘rolled oats’ for myself – gluten-free! *snicker*

      3. Caddo Veil

You know, actually, I’d prefer the rolled oats too–very tasty!!

Why do our conversations sooner or later come around to food? Hmmm….

      5. Caddo Veil

Because all this thinking and creating makes us Hungry!!!

      6. melodylowes

        Hungry with a capital ‘H’! 🙂

      7. Caddo Veil

Always. I don’t think I ever say that I’m hungry, but always “starving”–because I don’t eat on a schedule. I’m ever trying to step away from writing or the computer–eating is rather an inconvenience. That’s how I gained 10 pounds in a year–and if you need help with that logic, don’t ask me. (snort)
