Grace Rain

She’s tired,

so tired,

tired of lists and the

obligatory dance of the

well-worn rut, the

choreography of the

damned. So she’s

letting go, letting

it fall, raindrops

baptising tear ducts

in a redemptive soak,

epsom salts of

grace.

Event The Ark One needs a good…lachrymation…every now and then. But none of you heard that from me. Check it out, my friends. Grace Rain.

Epsom Salts of grace! Do you ever use Epsom Salts on your garden? I am told it is very good but i haven’t actually tried it.

  3. Melody, I like the soul soothing ending… grace!

“Choreography of the damned”–wow, Mel, if you never wrote another word, those would seal your place among poet laureates (in my humble and correct opinion). I LOVE that!!!

That sounds like a great idea and the imagery even more enticing.

I LOVE THIS! Thank you, Melody, for writing so faithfully and so full of faith!

  8. Dear melody, hope this finds you well. clocked your poem on a reblog from a pal of mine (and rightly so, great poem). Reading the comments here makes me aware i am not alone in thinking that ‘Choreography of the damned’ is a magnificent line, made me think and re-think and read the poem over and over. Well done, m’lady, excellent piece. Keep smiling and keep writing, kind regards from Baldy 🙂
