Stained Am I

Stained am I, and streaked by this palsy, pollen-spots falling as table-scraps onto purity’s napkin. Holy rain, wash my hands, my feet, my heart, that I would bloom beauty in shades of redemption, where mercy meets malfeasance with a gown white as snow.

      Thanks Gwen!

Ohhhh, gloriously beautiful and reverent, Mel. (An aside: I don’t like that stuff that falls off the flower and stains my tablecloth, shirt, hands….)

Meh. I know, friend, I know. Literally and figuratively, stains are bad news. Aren’t you glad you know the ultimate Stain Remover??

        Boy, am I!!!!

Lol; I am so literal. I looked at your comment and thought, “Melody, has a stain remover that gets rid of those horrible lily stains. Wow! Must ask what it is.” Then my figurative brain said, ‘Try reading that again.” Excellent!

      HA! I envy you – I’d LOVE to have 2 brains… 🙂

A beautiful flow of words to go with the lovely photo of the lily!
    🙂

Thanks Rosy! How is your summer going??

      1. RoSy

        Full – but fun!
Hope you are enjoying the summer too 🙂

When winter rolls around – I want to trade it for another dose of summer. What do you think my chances for trade are on that?

      2. melodylowes

Um – slim to nil at this point. Unless We can get a petition going? I’m pretty sure I could find a few takers… 🙂
