Another gorgeous one–both the verse and the photo. I’m curious whether you might also be a seamstress, or have a “fashion” background–because many of your poems make references to particular aspects of dress or gown…? God bless your day abundantly, Melody–love, Caddo
Now this is scary funny, Melody–the only sewing I ever mastered was square throw pillows too. And I was so phobic about the sewing machine, that I hand stitched them–yep, I did. A couple have survived the many moves–there’s one that I think you might really like–it has a wide eyelet “ruffle” (I typed “fuffle” orig! new poet word, maybe?). So if you’ll come for a visit, I’ll even give it to you (it’s small)–is that tempting enough? And of course I’ll bake yummy (typed yummny–am I tired, or what?) things for you too! (I feel like it’s Friday–probably because I just got home from my Dr’s appt, and won’t go back till next spring–yippee!)
More or less–I’ve basically gone from demanding every little complaint be addressed, to refusing all tests and exams. It’s too complicated to go into–you’ve probably heard about health care in the US. I’m fine, will see him next spring!
Our lovely Health Care system, while troubled, is one thing to crow about! I have been blessed with fairly good health so far, so I haven’t had to burden the system too much yet. But it is a nice thing to know that it is there when I need it.

No – my sewing is limited to throw cushions and simple window treatments – but I am a ‘girly-girl’ and like all that sort of thing! 🙂

A clean bill of health, then?

This poem gives me courage, Melody! Thank you and God bless!
Great! We could all use some of that in our day-today lives, right?
